YouTube Money Calculator

A what-if arithmetic estimator — not a prediction of real earnings

⚠ This is a pure what-if calculator using numbers you supply — NOT real AdSense/YouTube Partner Program data. Real earnings depend heavily on niche, audience country, watch time and ad settings, none of which this tool can know.

About this tool

This is a pure arithmetic what-if calculator, not a prediction of your actual AdSense or YouTube Partner Program revenue. It takes the monthly views and CPM (cost per thousand views) range you enter and computes a low-to-high earnings range with a simple formula: (views ÷ 1000) × CPM. It has no access to real advertiser rates, your channel's actual RPM, audience demographics, or ad settings — every number in the result comes directly from the numbers you typed in.

How to use it

  1. Enter your monthly (or projected) view count.
  2. Adjust the low and high CPM values to whatever range you believe is realistic for your niche and audience — the $2-$12 defaults are a common rough public-benchmark range, not a guarantee.
  3. Read the resulting range as a rough what-if, not a forecast.

Why real earnings vary so much: actual ad revenue depends heavily on your content niche (finance and tech CPMs run much higher than gaming or entertainment), your audience's country (US/UK/CA/AU viewers typically earn far more per view than many other regions), total watch time, seasonality (CPMs often rise in Q4), and which ad formats and settings you've enabled. This tool has no way to know any of that about your channel — it only does the arithmetic on the numbers you provide.

Is this connected to my real YouTube or AdSense account?

No. It has no connection to YouTube, AdSense, or any account data whatsoever — it's a standalone arithmetic calculator using only the view count and CPM range you type in.

Why is the result a range instead of one number?

Real CPM varies enormously by niche, audience and season, so a single number would create false precision. Showing a low-to-high range based on a CPM range you set is more honest about the underlying uncertainty.

What is CPM and why does it vary so much?

CPM stands for cost per mille (per thousand ad impressions) — what advertisers pay per 1,000 views of their ad. It varies by content category, audience location, time of year and advertiser demand, which is why this tool lets you set your own range instead of assuming one.

Should I use this to set income expectations?

Treat it only as a rough sanity-check on orders of magnitude, not a financial projection. Your actual AdSense payout will depend on factors this calculator has no visibility into.

Is any of my data sent anywhere?

No — the calculation happens entirely in your browser with plain arithmetic. Nothing you enter is sent to a server.
