About this tool

This tool is a rule-based generator, not an AI tool, it combines an opening hook sentence built from your topic, the content summary you write yourself, an optional subscribe reminder, your social link if you give one, and a handful of relevant hashtags derived from your keyword, into a single ready-to-use description. It never invents facts about your video; the actual content description always comes from what you type.

How to use it

  1. Enter your video's topic or main keyword.
  2. Write a short, honest summary of what's actually in the video.
  3. Toggle the subscribe reminder and add a social link if you want them included.
  4. Copy the finished description from the preview.

Tips: the first 1-2 lines of your description show in search results and above the fold on the watch page, so make sure your summary's first sentence is compelling on its own, it's placed right after the hook line for that reason.

Is this powered by AI?

No, it assembles a fixed description structure (hook, your summary, optional CTA, hashtags) from the exact text you provide. There's no language model rewriting or inventing anything.

Where do the hashtags come from?

They're generated from your topic keyword using the same CamelCase hashtag logic as this site's Hashtag Generator tool, split into words, non-letters stripped, and joined with a leading #.

Why does it ask for a content summary instead of just the topic?

A topic alone isn't a description, viewers and YouTube's search both benefit from knowing what actually happens in the video, and only you know that. This tool structures your summary well rather than guessing at content it hasn't seen.

Can I edit the generated description afterward?

Yes, treat it as a solid first draft. Copy it into YouTube's description field and adjust wording, add timestamps or links, however you like.

Is anything I type uploaded anywhere?

No, the description is assembled locally in your browser with plain JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server.
