Build a standard UPI payment QR code that any UPI app can scan to pre-fill a payment
This tool builds a standard UPI (Unified Payments Interface) deep link — upi://pay?pa=...&pn=...&am=...&tn=...&cu=INR — from the details you enter, and encodes it as a QR code. Because it follows the public UPI specification exactly, the result is a genuine UPI-compliant QR code: any UPI-enabled app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or your bank's own app — can scan it to open a pre-filled payment screen with the payee, amount and note already in place, ready for the payer to confirm.
yourname@okhdfcbank.Tips: leave the amount blank for a general "pay me" code you can reuse for any amount — set it only for a specific invoice or fixed-price item. Test any code with your own UPI app before sharing or printing it widely, since a typo in the VPA is the most common reason a generated code fails to resolve to the right account.
Yes — the QR encodes a standard upi://pay deep link per the public UPI specification, which every UPI-enabled app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and bank apps) understands and can open directly.
No — this tool only builds and displays the QR code locally in your browser. No payment gateway, bank, or server is involved; scanning the code simply opens the payer's own UPI app with the details pre-filled, and they complete the payment there.
A Virtual Payment Address is your UPI ID — a human-readable handle like name@bank that maps to your bank account, so you never have to share your actual account number or IFSC code to receive a payment.
Yes — leaving amount blank produces a reusable code where the payer enters their own amount, which is useful for tip jars, donations, or general payment collection where the amount varies each time.
No — the QR code is generated entirely client-side using JavaScript in your browser. Nothing you type here is uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
