About this tool

PascalCase (also called UpperCamelCase) joins words together with no separators and capitalizes the first letter of every word — it's the convention most languages use for class and type names, like UserProfile or HttpClient. This converter first splits your input into individual words, recognizing spaces, hyphens, underscores, existing camelCase or PascalCase boundaries, and embedded numbers, then re-joins those words with each one capitalized. It updates live as you type, so you can paste a sentence, a kebab-case slug, or a snake_case identifier and immediately see the PascalCase equivalent.

What's the difference between PascalCase and camelCase?

They're nearly identical, except PascalCase capitalizes the very first letter (UserProfile) while camelCase leaves it lowercase (userProfile). PascalCase is typically used for class, type, and component names; camelCase is typically used for variables and function names.

Can it convert from kebab-case or snake_case, not just plain sentences?

Yes — the word-splitting logic recognizes hyphens, underscores, spaces, existing camelCase/PascalCase boundaries, and runs of digits as word separators, so kebab-case, snake_case, space-separated text, and mixed input all convert cleanly.

How are numbers and acronyms handled?

Digits are treated as their own word segment, so "api_response_2" becomes "ApiResponse2" rather than losing the number. Runs of consecutive capital letters followed by a lowercase letter (like an acronym before a new word) are split so each part capitalizes correctly.
