Invisible Text Generator

Generate copyable invisible Unicode text built from blank Braille-pattern characters

This is built from the "blank" Braille pattern character (U+2800), which renders as invisible but is a real, copyable character — unlike a plain space, most platforms won't strip or collapse it.
Nothing here is ever sent anywhere — the invisible text is generated entirely in your browser.

About this tool

This generator produces a string of repeated Braille Pattern Blank characters (U+2800) — a Unicode codepoint that's technically a printable character but renders with no visible glyph. Because it's a real character rather than whitespace, it survives in places that trim leading/trailing spaces or reject empty input, like chat apps, usernames, and social media bios, letting you post a "blank" message or name. Set how many characters you want and copy the result directly into whatever field needs it.

Why not just use a regular space character?

Many apps automatically trim leading and trailing spaces, or reject a message/name that's entirely whitespace. The blank Braille character isn't classified as whitespace, so it typically passes through those checks unchanged.

Will this work everywhere — every app and platform?

Most platforms accept it since it's a standard Unicode character, but some services run their own validation that strips unusual characters or requires visible content, so results can vary by app.

Does increasing the length make the invisible text "more invisible"?

No — length only controls how many blank characters are generated, which can matter if a field has a minimum character requirement. A single character is just as invisible as a hundred.

Making text that looks like nothing

Choose how many characters you need, press Generate, and copy the result. It looks empty, but it's real text made of blank Braille characters, so websites and apps treat it as content rather than ignoring it.

Most people use it where a field refuses a blank entry: a username, a nickname, a message you want to send as an empty bubble, or a line break in a bio that normally strips spacing. It's also handy when you want a visible gap in a layout that collapses ordinary spaces.

Some platforms have started filtering these characters or reject them for names, so it won't work everywhere. If one attempt is refused, try a shorter length.

Good to know

Because you can't see it, paste it somewhere you can check, such as the box in the tool, before relying on it. Selecting all in the field will show a highlighted block if it's there.
