Grab any frame from a video, right in your browser.
Choose a point in time, save it as any image format, or export it pre-sized for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. No upload, no waiting.
Tips if a frame won't grab
This uses your browser's native video decoder, so the file has to be something your browser itself can play, standard MP4 (H.264) and WebM work everywhere. If a file won't load, try opening it directly in a new browser tab first: if it won't play there either, it's a codec your browser doesn't support, and converting it to MP4 first will fix it.
Which format should I pick?
PNG is the safest all-round choice, lossless and opens everywhere. JPG and WebP make smaller files for sharing online. AVIF compresses best but isn't fully supported everywhere yet. The rest (BMP, GIF, TIFF, TGA, PPM/PGM/PBM, ICO, PDF, SVG) are there for specific tools and workflows, the note under the format dropdown explains what each one is good for and any trade-off it makes.
How do the social media sizes work?
Every platform expects a specific pixel size for each placement, a square Instagram post isn't the same shape as a YouTube thumbnail or a LinkedIn cover photo. Picking a size below crops your grabbed frame to the middle of that exact shape (so nothing gets stretched) and scales it to the precise pixel dimensions that platform uses, so you can download it and upload it straight away.
