Balance, total sent/received, transaction count and first-seen date for any public Bitcoin address
The Bitcoin blockchain is a public ledger — anyone can look up any address's full transaction history, since that's how the network itself verifies balances. This tool reads that public data for you: current balance, lifetime totals sent and received, transaction count, and (best-effort) the date of the address's very first transaction.
How to use it: paste any Bitcoin address (legacy 1.../3..., or native SegWit bc1...) and click "Look up".
Yes — a Bitcoin address is a public identifier, like a public account number; looking it up reveals only what's already visible to anyone on the public blockchain. This tool never asks for a private key, seed phrase, or password, and never will.
It's read from a secondary public data provider that can occasionally be unavailable for a given address — in that case the rest of the report still loads normally, just without that one field.
Yes — legacy (starting with 1), P2SH (starting with 3), and native SegWit / bech32 (starting with bc1) addresses are all supported.
