Convert audio to WAV or MP3, right in your browser.
Decode almost any audio file your browser can play, and re-export it as an uncompressed WAV or a smaller MP3 — no upload, no account.

Which format to pick
WAV is uncompressed — larger, but with no quality loss and universal compatibility. MP3 compresses the audio to a much smaller file at a small, usually inaudible cost in quality — the better choice for sharing or uploading somewhere with a size limit.
How this works
The browser's Web Audio API decodes your file to raw samples, then re-encodes it — WAV is written directly from those samples, and MP3 is produced by a real, in-browser MP3 encoder. Nothing is uploaded to a server at any point.
Which input formats are supported?
Anything your browser's own audio decoder can already play — MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, and FLAC in most current browsers. If a file won't load, try opening it directly in a new browser tab first; if it won't play there either, the browser itself can't decode that format and no web-based tool can convert it.
Does converting lose quality?
Converting to WAV keeps every sample exactly as decoded, so there's no additional loss beyond whatever the source file already had. Converting to MP3 recompresses the audio, which is lossy — fine for most listening, but not something you'd want to repeat multiple times on the same file if you care about quality.
